The answers are diverse, just like the yogis, who practice on the rug. Some search for their inner peace, others work hard for a healthy body or their desired figure.
Women for women
As "modern" women, if we want to fulfill the role models that we are expected of and still find inner peace, then the historical sewing circles in a 21st century mask may perhaps be a comforting ease. This way, we rediscover aspects of devotion again.
Meditation
Think of all of your happiest memories. What do they all have in common? You only paid attention to the here and now. You gave yourself in fully for the moment and you sensed all there was to sense in every little part, every little molecule of your body, in all its intensity. When we are happy, we feel light, troublefree, content, confident and free. Happiness is our most innocent, simple and genuine feeling.

it is always there for you after a hard day to relax and recharge.

whilst, you may realise, that in reality what you said you may not necessarily have meant it.

Finally, my website is done. 😉 Most probably you will come across a million things, that at the moment, you don’t find interesting just yet but, nevertheless, I would like to show you them. Maybe I can change your mind.

Maria Stuart is dead, David Bowie is just as alive as she is, but I can give you some advice on how to survive your own generation.

If THAT’S your goal, I cannot know for sure. Worst-case scenario, you end up like those two. Then, most importantly, I lose you as my student (which I would personally feel sorry for.)
Alternatively, I could introduce you to the world of (traditional, of course) Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga, Ayurveda und Meditation. If you choose this path, your biggest task is to trust me.

I was stuck in a crisis at this point of my life. I lost the track, I didn’t know how to continue. My mood kept swinging between insecurity, fear and depression. Firstly, I focused on getting myself out of this devilish spiral. My view on life turned pessimistic, without a horizon to glance on, without beams of light piercing through the cloudy sky, simply without any concept and without any hope in a positive turning of my life.
Later in life, my daughter and me were forced to move to Ireland. If you know Ireland you know it’s not easy there. I had to leave behind my whole life back in Hungary, familiar paths, friends and family, but so did my daughter and probably it was even harder for her than for me. My strength was my German skills. They lead to a well payed job as a sales administrator within a week. It broke my heart as I had signed my daughter into “Educate Together National School”, a school for the children of immigrants, who didn’t speak little to no English. Every afternoon she got a private lesson in English.  Thankfully she is a quick learner and spoke English fluently within a year, so extra support in the language was not necessary anymore. Nevertheless, as time went by, more difficulties emerged. In Ireland the school system is territorial, one goes to a school in the territory one lives in. Moving houses always meant changing school too. Which meant, every step upwards in my career meant tearing my daughter out of an already known system and forcing her to start all new again somewhere else. This put pressure on me as well. We moved six times in four years. My daughter got a place in one of the best schools in Ireland and I became a Key Account manager. This job bound me to Dublin. At this time when I thought everything would be set for once, my daughter wanted to move back to Hungary, to her friends and family.

Whilst my daughter was living far away from me in Hungary, the situation in my job got worse. It was my job to sell the product “Talent Solution” in the German speaking areas. I held 50 to 60 phone conversations on an average per day, and met just as many declines. The consequence of this was that they cut my original salary to the half, and not only I had to work unconventionally much, I also was not able to visit my daughter anymore. If I wanted to change my situation I needed to change my job. It took me another six months but I found a job at Oracle.
At the peak of this negative phase of my life, I took the offer of my former employer and attended Yoga classes. Those few hours became the highlights of my days. I was finally able to let go of the stress and the challenges I had to conquer. I was able to distance myself and all my worries seemed meaningless and unnecessary.
This state of inner peace became a way to deal with rough day but it started to become way more than this. I realized that the field of yoga might be the right profession for me. This lead to the point where I quit my old job as Key Account Manager to become a Yoga-Instructor.
I had to sell my flat in Budapest to finance our life and the education to become a Yoga-Instructor. Letting things go for this dream of mine was never really a problem for me. Through yoga I got more that I had to let go and my yoga rug became something like my second home.
Now you know MY story, which should not be yours (because, you guessed it, I don’t want to lose you as my students ). What is my goal with this? I don’t want to chain you to my course for life. I want to support you on your own path of Yoga.

The American football team, the New York Giants, have yoga lessons twice a week for ten years now.🙂

The old sewing circles were there for women to socialise, to exchange opinions, ideas and to give or receive advice. As "spiders" they discuss and address everyday specific roles and responsibilities and thereby regain their inner peace of mind. Women's groups can help us to return to ourselves and rediscover our female qualities and roles in order to create an everyday harmony.

In our busy world, finding ourselves is an incredble challenge. This seems to be particularly important in times where we reach our limits or go through painful experiences. We then experience these situations as a "crisis". Crises mark dangers, but are also the starting-point of opportunities that are responsible for change.In order for character development to happen, one needs to face crisis. Of course, we realise this only much later, if we reflect upon ourselves.

I believe that a women's community can help rediscover the power and wisdom of femininity

During these encounters we talk about what it’s like to be a woman, play, create, support each other in the time of need and discuss, just as women have done for centuries.

We welcome those who, despite their scars and how life has beaten them black and blue, want to retain their femininity.
